What I learned

[caption id="attachment_776" align="aligncenter" width="370" caption="Cosmic Honu Class"][/caption] This is the piece from my first class with Gordon Uyehara, Cosmic Honu.  We all were given a template, a small dome to shape our shell, and guidance to make this little guy.  I got some great colors from the Liver of Sulphur Gel that Cool Tools carries.  The ribbon was purchased from Class Act Designs.

The other class with Bronwen Heilman was really fun, we were given 3 white bead blanks, primary color enamels, which we mixed up to get the colors we wanted, and we painted away.  The results were painterly, and interesting!   These beads are annealed twice.  The encased bead, on the left,  was done with a sheet of glass, which was tricky.
