It was a fun day in the studio yesterday, I worked on some torch enameling, then decided to use the kiln for this piece. It's enamel over copper. I like the depth and the way it turned out. I think it would be a good idea to have two pieces going at the same time, if you are impatient like me, you can work on one while the other is cooling off.
The Gem Show is here in town until Sunday--it was fun, even though I shopped enough in Tucson, I found a few goodies. It's a also social gathering, as I run into lots of jewelers I know.
